How are Bio-Mats made?

Bio-Mat materials are heated to 1,600 degrees C to get rid of any toxic ingredients.  The fine .1 micron power that results is what you'll find in the mat.  When this is heated, it emits healthy far infrared and is classified as biologically active soil.  

How hot do they get?

These pads don't get hot like an electric blanket.  When you lie on it, it warms the inside of your body and only the part of the pad meeting your skin gets warm.  When part of the pad gets higher than the temperature your select, the current is cut off to that section.  The external control box allows you to easily adjust the temperature.
