What is Far Infrared?

Far Infrared is as essential to life as food, air and water. It is a range of the electromagnetic spectrum of waves emitted by the sun. We can not see it, but we can feel it.

How The Body Takes In Far Infrared

People absorb and emit far infrared. The level of far infrared produced by each individual mirrors their general health. As they become sick their radiation goes down, and increases again as they get well.

Below is a diagram which shows the wavelengths of the electromagnetic spectrum. A micrometer or micron is equal to one millionth of a meter. The far infrared spectrum is between 5.6 to 1000 microns. The wavelengths most helpful to the human being is between 8 and 14 microns.
