The Saunex far infrared sauna system is designed to completely surround you with safe-to-the-touch far infrared heaters that are safe to the touch. The cabinet's interior is almost completely covered with our specially developed heaters, providing you with an unsurpassed evenness of heat.

The heater assembly's design allows the heaters to be close to the body for optimum heat absorption without risk of burns. The far infrared spectrum's effectiveness in deep penetrating heat allows you to sweat at a lower, more comfortable temperature, which allows many people to tolerate a sauna who can not use a traditional one.

Far infrared heat penetrates deeper into the body, increases circulation, speeds healing and provides greater detoxification of the body.  Toxins are everywhere and the ability to sweat out great numbers of them is key to enhancing general health.  Far infrared saunas can help any weight loss and fitness program while providing deep relaxation and lower blood pressure over time.

Ultra Low Electromagnetic Frequencies

After much research, testing and modification, the electromagnetic field cancellation scheme for the heater circuitry was developed. This was done to address user concerns about EMF dangers. EMF intensity experiments were done comparing these heaters with their EMF reduction technology and with the same heaters that lacked the reduction invention, and also with a standard far infrared ceramic heater. The effectiveness of the EMF cancellation circuitry in this heater is immediately apparent in the chart below.



At close distances the experiment demonstrates how effective the heaters are at reducing EMF. They are near the ambient EMF readings or the room's EMF.

The Saunex Cabinet Design

The design, shape and size of this sauna system were derived directly from the form of the human body. The shape of an average human being sitting in a comfortable position was drawn and the cabinet was then created in computer space to surround the body up to the neck, leaving approximately 4" to 6" of space between the cabinet walls and the body.

You sit comfortably in the sauna with your head remaining outside the cabinet, eliminating the discomfort of breathing very hot or sweat laden air. It requires no set up and plugs into any standard household outlet. The cabinet may be wheeled from room to room on its integrated wheels. Its non-porous surface makes this cabinet extremely easy to clean and sanitize.

The ten heater assemblies were placed to optimize heat transfer to the body: one heater located in the seat back, five placed on the angled inner door and two mounted on each side panel. This design surrounds the user with far infrared emitting surfaces providing unsurpassed evenness of heat. The close proximity of these far infrared emitters to the body drove two extremely important design innovations; greatly reduced electromagnetic frequencies (EMF) and a safety cover for the heaters. Both designs are patent pending.

The heaters emit far infrared radiant energy centered around seven to nine microns - the optimum wavelength according to many surveys and experts on far infrared therapy.  All components were chosen for their chemical and physical stability. No adhesives are used.  The cabinet comfortably accommodates one person and features a height adjustable seat and a destratification fan to maintain a uniform user-set temperature with no cold spots.

By law no sauna can be air tight. There may be heat leakage with this sauna (and ozone leakage if ozone is used). If this is so, we can provide you with additional gasket material.

Operation of the Saunex Far Infrared Sauna

The controller has both temperature and time duration control functions. The temperature can be set between 100°F and 130°F. The duration can be set between 0 and 60 minutes. The heaters are at full temperature in five to ten minutes, although some people prefer to wait 20–30 minutes for the cabinet to warm up before they begin their sauna session.

The Saunex is easy to clean. It wipes clean with a damp soft cloth using a mild non-abrasive soap and warm water.
